An absolutely fabulous t-shirt collection: Hanna Lee Joshi's latest collection features women in vivid gradient colors: their breasts are cobalt blue, their shoulders rosy red, and their palms acid orange. Created with tempera and colored pencils, the vivid colors move away from skin tones and towards what Joshi describes as “the most transcendent side of my femininity. Recover my inner goddess and explore the notion of embodying the fleeting soul in form,” she says. By rendering their fat, curved torsos and limbs in bold colors, Joshi subverts the conventions of the nude image.
